We don't live here anymore

Today I went back to my old apartment to finish cleaning it up since we've all officially moved out. Our cleaning session consisted of scrubbing, swifting and windexing (yes, these are technical terms) leaving us a little punchy and hungry for hilarity.

We saved the best for last by cleaning out the fridge. I don't know if it was the mugginess or the task at hand but we began to feel lazy. It occurred to us that maybe the new tenants might not notice that the fridge hadn't been cleaned if someone was in it. So Jason climbed in and we decided that we had found the perfect distraction.

Excuse me, I'm in here.

The only problem was that neither of us wanted to stick around long enough to distract the new tenants and we didn't want to put any energy in finding someone who would. In the end, we scrubbed the fridge, locked up the house and said goodbye. I'll always have memories of the Market St. apartment, but imagining what could have been will always make me laugh.
